Loads and Loads of Charms

Hello Visitors!

Welcome to my deviantART. I am mainly a polymer clay jewelry artist, but I also do some photography and what I wish was modeling.

I would love it if you took a few minutes to go through my gallery and let me know what you think. Every jewelry piece in my gallery is completely handmade, original, and most items are one-of-a-kind.

I am always open for commissions, most of the jewelry and some other pieces in my gallery are for sale unless otherwise specified. And I would love to do a trade with you if I'm able to! Just send me a note or e-mail anytime!

Hey visitors!

This is me. I am a polymer clay jewelry artist, and I also work with other jewelry-making materials like beads and found objects. I also spend time making new clothing from old clothing. My favorite materials are old t-shirts.

I also take photographs, mostly of nature and the kitties in my life. I volunteer at the Oak Park Animal Care League's 2nd Chance Resale Shop and have a few feline friends that live there.

My mom is an art teacher and I am the artist I am today because of the opportunity and inspiration she provided for me.

Please enjoy browsing my gallery and feel free to check out my portfolio at [link]

If you like experimental music, check out my boyfriend's page and download some completely self-made albums and artwork: ~tootheye.

Feature try out and updates...

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2009, 1:00 PM

I just wanted to take advantage of the free CSS feature going on right now. I'll start with some updates and move on to the feature.

Lately I have been having a hard time in my personal life. Being estranged from my family because I am in recovery is really hurtful. I feel like this is the time that I need the most support from them, but it's also the time that they are the least inclined to offer it (even though I think that's bull sh*t). So, of course with the holidays coming up all these issues are becoming more apparent.

To add to the chaos, my younger brother is leaving to go into the army in January. Not trying to offend anyone with what I say, but I hate the army - navy - air force - military anything. I'm not a believer in giving one's life for a country who could care less. Specifically having to do with my brother's situation, my felling is that he has never been able to make his own life choices because of all the influencing of my family and others deciding what is right and wrong. So when my brother decided to go into the army, I think he thought it was a good place for him because he can continue to base his life on what others tell him to do. The army tells you what to wear, where to go, what to eat, when to sleep. It's an easy way out when you don't want to face making your own choices.

On a lighter note, my boyfriend, ~tootheye, is putting together a electronic music compilation to raise money for the Oak Park Animal Care League. Basically we have asked some friends and fellow music artists to donate songs for the CD, as well as artwork for the CD case. 50 CDs will be professionally made and will sell for $10 each, amounting to $500 to go towards the ACL. Right now, we are working on getting all the art and music prepared to go to print. Once we have everything together, we will be asking local businesses to make a small $25 donation to go towards production costs. If you want to know more about "The Donation Compilation", check out my boyfriend's Facebook (search for Christopher Will or go through my Facebook friends to find him).

Now on to the feature. I had a hard time deciding what I should put up, so I'm just going to feature some of my favorites from my polymer clay creations folder...
